Profoundly disabled, and moved around by whichever warlord held Jiankang: Huan Xuan deposed him and declared his own dynasty in 403, Liu Yu restored him, and Liu Yu had him strangled in 418 to make room for a prophecy about the succession.
The reign is the long collapse of the Eastern Jin into the hands of a general of common birth who would found the next dynasty.
