Experience the elegance and power of history through the silk paintings of master artist Xiang Li. This month-long solo exhibition features selections from her celebrated Chinese Empresses Collection, created using traditional mineral and plant pigments on silk.
With more than six decades of artistic practice and training rooted in the Palace Museum in Beijing, Xiang Li brings ancient stories of influential women to life for today’s audiences. Visitors are invited to explore the exhibition throughout the month during regular library hours.
